Secondary School Co-op Student Opportunities

Goals & Expectations

  • Every student, who accepts a placement at CKHA, must have a clear understanding of, respect for, and commitment to the confidential nature of our organization. Students will be required to review and sign a pledge of confidentiality.
  • CKHA Youth Services will work collaboratively with Board of Education Co-operative Education program planners and coordinators to support and enhance learning opportunities in our health care environment.
  • At the completion of the placement, each student will be expected to write a one to two page pager outlining their overall experience at CKHA.  A copy of the assignment will be given to the student's school and to the Youth Services Specialist at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.  The purpose of the paper is to assist in the continuous improvement of the Co-op program and to encourage future students in their placement choices.
