CKHA Services Altered for Good Friday and Easter Monday April 2 and April 5, 2010
CHATHAM-KENT – Some health care services offered at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (Chatham & Wallaceburg campuses) will be altered on Friday, April 2 and Monday, April 5, 2010 in recognition of Good Friday and Easter Monday.
Routine out-patient blood tests, X-rays, EKG, and ultrasounds will not be available on April 2 and April 5, 2010. These departments will be staffed to meet the needs of inpatients and emergencies. Ambulatory Care Services, Out-Patient Rehabilitation Services, Chatham-Kent Mental Health and Addictions Program, Pre-Admit Clinic, Health Education Department, Diabetes Education Centre, Respiratory Health Centre, Chemotherapy Unit, Pulmonary Function Lab, Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit and Patient Appointment Office will also be closed.
The Patient Appointment Office, though closed, can still receive electronic requests for appointments through the Patient Appointment Request Service (PARS) available on the community portal – www.chatham-kent.ca/pars.
Elston Pharmacy, located at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance will be closed on Friday, April 2 and Monday April 5, 2010.
Hemodialysis Care will be open on Friday, April 2 and Monday, April 5, 2009.
The Emergency Departments at the Chatham and Sydenham Campuses are open 24 hours daily.
