There is a shortage of physicians throughout Ontario, and here in Chatham-Kent. However, there are a number of avenues to consider when seeking local medical attention. The following, is provided for information only. It may change, and does not constitute a referral or a recommendation.

In a medical emergency, please report to the nearest Emergency Room. Chatham-Kent Health Alliance’s Emergency Departments are open 24 hours daily and located in Chatham at 80 Grand Ave. West, and in Wallaceburg at 325 Margaret Avenue.

There is a walk-in Clinic in Chatham at new Canadian Superstore at 791 St. Clair Street. For more information, including hours of service, please call 519.351.2273.

There is a walk-in Clinic in Tilbury at 15 Mill Street. For more information, including hours of service, please call 519.682.3699.

Dr. Naidoo is currently accepting patients at the Tilbury District Family Health Team, located at 16 Queen Street South, Tilbury. Service is by appointment only. Call 519.682.2307 for information.

Health Care Connect is a program launched by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care to help Ontarians without a family health care provider find one. The program refers people without a regular family health care provider to physicians and nurse practitioners who are accepting new patients in their community. There are two ways you can register for the Health Care Connect program
