Chatham-Kent’s rich cultural diversity is showcased in the ongoing restorations of its many heritage buildings and is exemplified by the painstaking effort to return Chatham’s historic Capitol Theatre to its original lustre, as a treasured venue for live events.
Experiences a wonderful moderate climate just below the Snow Belt in Southwestern Ontario. Situated on the same latitude as Northern California, we experience four beautifully changing seasons with excellent outdoor activities all year round.
CK’s climate allows growth of delicate crops such as peaches, plums, cherries, tomatoes, strawberries and so many more delicious varieties which we enjoy all summer and late into the fall. During the winter, snow-covered grounds allow for a plethora of frosty activities.
