Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Recognizes Service to Hospitals

CHATHAM-KENT: November 17, 2015 -- Nearly 300 long-service employees, volunteers, physicians and retirees will be honoured at this year's Recognition Banquet hosted by Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA).

Joan Brisley, Andrea Houle and Antoinette McGowan will be recognized for 45 years of service. Gloria French, Carol Hunter, Dianne Jackson, Cynthia Tyhurst and Dr. Valdis Pakulis will be recognized for 40 years of service. Eighteen employees will receive 35-year recognition: Jan Brosseau, Pat Cavanagh, Deborah Eldridge, Hope Gambeta, Marg Glassford, Joan Hammond, Marilynn Harris, Sandra Holmes, Cheryl Jarecsni, Dr. John Leigh, Kim Libbrecht, Sheryl Mellow-Gallagher, Veronica Oulds, Tina Phillip, Nancy Smith, Cathy Smyth, Sandra VanHyfte and Donna Vollans.

Guests of honour also include 73 five year, 60 ten year, 62 fifteen year, 18 twenty year, 17 twenty-five year and 19 thirty year award recipients.

In addition, the Alliance will pay tribute to thirty-four retirees:

The Annual Alliance Awards of Excellence will also be presented during the event. These performance-based awards recognize those who show exceedingly high achievements far beyond their expected assigned duties. *

The annual recognition event will be held on Friday, November 20, 2015 at Club Lentinas in Chatham.
