CKHA Wins National Energy and Environmental Stewardship Award

CHATHAM-KENT: June 15, 2015 - Last evening, Chatham-Kent Health Alliance was honoured by the Canadian College of Health Leaders with its national Energy and Environmental Stewardship Award. This award recognizes a progressive healthcare organization, with organizational-wide initiatives that demonstrate environmental responsibility through the reduction of energy usage, the preservation of natural resources and effective waste diversion solutions. CKHA accepted the award at the College's national conference in Prince Edward Island.

TNT (Today Not Tomorrow) Early Youth Psychosis Intervention Program Earns Chatham-Kent Health Alliance's 8th Annual "Compassionate Caregiver Award of Distinction"

CHATHAM-KENT: May 13, 2015 -- Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA) awarded its 8th annual Compassionate Caregiver Award of Distinction today during National Nursing Week. 

The award is a Royal Copenhagen figurine, gifted to CKHA in 2008 by an anonymous donor in appreciation of care provided to their loved one. The award comes with a financial gift to be used towards education at CKHA to further staff expertise in caring for patients.

Paula Reaume-Zimmer Recognized for Outstanding Dedication and Leadership in Mental Health

CHATHAM-KENT: April 27, 2015 -- Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA) and Canadian Mental Health Association - Lambton Kent (CMHA-LK) is pleased to announce that their Integrated Director of Operations for Mental Health and Addictions, Paula Reaume-Zimmer, received the Jane Chamberlin Award from the Association of General Hospital Psychiatric Services (AGHPS).
