Ambulatory Care
The Ambulatory Care Department provides care to patients with scheduled appointments at both the Chatham and Wallaceburg sites.
Bundled Care
Chatham-Kent Health Alliance has partnered with outpatient rehabilitation clinics throughout our region to provide government-funded quality post-surgical physiotherapy to patients who have had qualifying hip, knee, or shoulder surgeries.
CKHA @ Home
CKHA @ Home is an intensive, hospital-operated homecare service designed to bridge the gap between acute care and a patient’s home.
Complex Continuing Care
The Complex Continuing Care Unit provides specialized inpatient care for medically complex patients, offering both short-term, goal-oriented care for those with potential for improvement, and long-term support for individuals with chronic conditions.
Diabetes Education Centre
The Diabetes Educators provide support to adults and children who have been diagnosed with diabetes, and to individuals and populations who are at higher risk of developing diabetes.
Diagnostic Imaging
The Diagnostic Imaging department is made up of CT, MRI, X-Ray, Ultrasound, BMD, Nuclear Medicine, Fluoroscopy and Mammography equipment available for diagnostic examinations.
Dialysis
The Dialysis Unit has specially trained staff who care for stable dialysis patients in consultation with London nephrologists and the multidisciplinary team.
Emergency Department
The Emergency Department provides quality emergency care to patients with acute illnesses or injuries 24 hours a day, 7 days a week out of both the Chatham Site and Wallaceburg Site.
Health Records
The Health Records Department oversees the management, collection, storage, retention and access of all personal health information for each patient and their health record.
ICU / PCU
The Intensive Care Unit serves patients requiring advanced monitoring and highly focused medical attention and strives to provide Patient and Family Centred Care in all services.
Laboratory
Chatham-Kent Health Alliance provides Laboratory Services at both sites and is proudly accredited through Accreditation Canada Diagnostics.
Medicine
The Inpatient Medicine Unit offers comprehensive care for adults hospitalized with various acute and chronic medical conditions.
Mental Health & Addictions
The Mental Health & Addictions Program (MHAP) delivers best practice clinical mental health and addictions services built on a strong education and research-based model.
Oncology & Cancer Clinic
Chatham-Kent Health Alliance’s Cancer Clinic is a Level 4 satellite outpatient referral centre. The clinic aims to provide timely and safe access to high quality cancer treatment to residents who wish to receive chemotherapy closer to home.
Rehabilitation & Stroke Care
The Rehabilitation & Integrated Stroke Unit provides a comprehensive continuum of care to maximize functional independence and improve quality of life for patients recovering from stroke, orthopedic conditions, and general debility.
Surgery
The Surgical Program is committed to providing safe, quality, compassionate Patient and Family Centred Care. The interdisciplinary team provides education before and after surgery and believes that patients are vital partners in care.
Stroke Care
The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance – Chatham Site, is one of five designated District Stroke Centres in Southwestern Ontario.
Wallaceburg Services
The Wallaceburg Site offers several services including Emergency Department, Inpatient Medicine Unit, Laboratory, Ambulatory Care, and more.
