Complex Continuing Care

While waiting for a long-term care bed, there is a charge known as a chronic care co-payment. This fee, mandated by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, helps cover your accommodation during this transitional period. It is different from what you might pay for a semi-private or private room. You will receive a monthly co-payment bill starting from when the long-term care application is completed.
