The Communications team operates with a proactive approach to media relations. To foster open and transparent communication with members of the media, CKHA conducts bi-monthly media updates facilitated by our President & CEO and Board Chair. Media are invited to attend the updates in-person or by teleconference. If you are looking to interview a member of the Senior Leadership Team or medical leadership, as well as capturing photos/videos at our hospital sites, the Communications team are available to work with you. CKHA can provide high resolution photography to use for a publication or website upon request.
If you are inquiring about the condition of a patient at CKHA, the Communications department and all members of CKHA staff will not be able to communicate personal information of a patient or patient family member. Protecting patient privacy and confidentiality is the priority.
Members of the media are asked to contact the Communications department by telephone or email prior to visiting the hospital sites so that arrangements can be made to facilitate requests for interviews and photographs in a timely and efficient manner.
